Because we’re a small business we work extra hard to serve our customers so that we can continue to provide for our families. The owner and lead designer is Joe Whitwell, who works alongside his office administrator Robin to facilitate the day to day operations. Our 30-year old stone patio was in poor condition and really showing its age with large cracks in the mortar joints, substantial flaking of the fieldstone base and water drainage issues.
We appreciated Joe Whitwell's suggestions for improving our patio by changing the base from fieldstone to paver-bricks and adding illumination not just to the stone pillars, but also adding stair lighting and flush-mounted under-the-cap illumination. The new paver base is beautiful and the illumination is just plain dramatic. The restoration far exceeded our expectations and we couldn’t be happier.
And just a word about our installation crew. Our crew was led by Daniel Hernandez. It was a pleasure to have Daniel and crew working at our house. As I get older I more and more appreciate the work of fine-craftsmen. Daniel and crew definitely fall into the category of fine-craftsman. They are true experts and it was a privilege to watch them practice their craft.
